On September 7th 1992, Gqozo's troops open fired on an African National Congress march.
One soldeir and twenty-eight protesters died, while hudreds of others were injured.
Gqozo denied open firing first and accuses African National Congress protesters as having killed a soldier. Gqozo claimed his troops acted with restraint.
